This potent alchemical solution is designed to break down magical and mundane materials alike, dissolving adhesives, softening metals, and neutralizing magical bindings. It comes in a small glass vial containing enough solvent for three applications.

Properties:

• Dissolve Adhesives: Alchemist’s Solvent can be applied to any nonmagical adhesive (such as glue, tar, or spider silk) to dissolve it instantly. Magical adhesives, such as Sovereign Glue, require a DC 15 Intelligence (Arcana) check to neutralize.
• Soften Metal: When poured onto a small metal object (such as a lock, chain, or manacles), the solvent softens the material for 1 minute, making it easier to break. The object’s AC is reduced by 5, and it has vulnerability to bludgeoning damage.
• Break Magical Seals: Applied to a magically sealed door, chest, or lock, the solvent attempts to weaken the enchantment. The user makes an Intelligence (Arcana) check against the spell save DC of the effect. On a success, the seal is broken.
